Sinead Kane is Ireland’s first registered blind solicitor.
She is also a very accomplished long distance runner.
Last year she became the first blind woman to run in the Dublin Marathon; last month she completed the Donadea 50k ultramarathon.
But she was initially refused permission to run in the Womens Mini Marathon because her guide runner, John O’Regan, is male.
Sinead spoke to Jacki after the decision was overturned.
